# Docker Kubernetes Spring Boot PostgreSQL Demo
## Setup
Make sure to have Docker installed and open your CLI in the project root.
Build the Docker image for the Spring Boot app by running the following command:
```bash
docker build -t 'asegers/employee-service:1.0' .
```
Then, build and start the Kubernetes pod by running the following command:
```bash
docker-compose up
```
You're done! View the all employees endpoint at: [localhost:8080/api/v1/employees/](http://localhost:8080/api/v1/employees/)
